InstaTrim Trim Tabs

The toughest trim tabs for your boat.

Insta-Trim Trim tabs provide a quick and efficient means to lift your boat onto the plane and stabilise roll angle, for a smoother more comfortable ride. Your boat remains on the plane at a lower RPM, improving fuel efficiency, thus enabling you to travel to those furthest fishing spots. Tabs are operated by fast acting hydraulic actuators powered by a compact 12 or 24 volt pump module.

These well-made stainless steel tab plates are available in a variety of sizes to suit trailer boats and up to 20 meter + motoryachts. Plates up to 500mm wide require a single tab actuator, over that require two per tab. Their heavy-duty series use 6.0mm (1/4” ) 304 stainless steel with heavy duty plate hinges, which are sandblasted and powder coated, with both single and dual cylinder models available.

Insta-Trim’s standardised components in their system ensures that spare parts are common to all models, despite their age and allows us to carry a comprehensive inventory of spares. Their Universal Kit replaces everything except tabs from outmoded/obsolete brands. 

We have premade kits for most vessels up to 12 metres and can specify the correct set for larger launches.
